Our client located in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Interactive Developer for a 90 day contract to hire need.

JOB DUTIES:
Candidate will work in a collaborative environment to develop Rich Internet Applications with a strong focus on user interface development and user experience. Candidate will take direction from managers while communicating issues, providing estimates and helping to provide creative solutions to technical issues.

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in computer science, business or information systems, or equivalent experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
3 – 5 years experience.
Able to conceptualize and think creatively.
Strong command of essential web technologies:
XHTML, CSS, Javascript (jQuery/Prototype), AJAX, JSON, DOM Scripting, unobtrusive JavaScript, XML/XSLT, W3C DOM methods and properties, Adobe Photoshop and other graphic editing tools.
Thorough understanding of table-less page layout and positioning, browser behavior and compatibility, cross-browser issues and solutions. Experience with template engines and web application frameworks a plus: JSP, Velocity, JSF, etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Persuasive, patient manner and team leadership capabilities.
Previous experience using the Rational Unified Process methodology for software design required.
Must possess skill sets and demonstrate proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives.
Requires the ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope.
Exposure to project management methodology, source code management tools like CVS, SVN.
Exposure to Service Oriented Architecture and Web Service development standards (SOAP, XML, WSDL) and in developing on the Spring and Hibernate frameworks and knowledge of XML, XSLT and JQuery.
