Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Inc

The ColdFusion Developer/Systems Analyst will be responsible for facilitating and supporting Vertex Pharmaceutical’s Research, Development, and Commercial needs in creating and developing breakthrough therapies by using cutting-edge science and technology. The Systems Analyst’s main responsibility will be to write and maintain Web based applications using ColdFusion and Web 2.0 technologies as part of the integrated information services group.

Minimum requirements:

• 3+ years experience building database-driven web sites and applications using ColdFusion
• Strong JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SQL and XML skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to tightly manage time and project responsibilities and able to work on multiple projects at one time.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong experience working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
• Must be comfortable learning and using new technologies.
• PHP, PhotoShop, Flash, Flex, Java experience a plus
