As a ColdFusion Developer you will develop web solutions and custom applications for our largest eCommerce client. This is a high profile position, working on a highly trafficked site that generates tremendous revenue.

Responsibilities

• Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements and new development as required
• Implement project applications according to specifications
• Research technical issues and provide recommendations
• Suggest ideas for improving efficiency
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and assignments as required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Be proactive with testing and stabilization
• Maintain flexibility; ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities

Experience/Skills
Must Have:

• 4+ years of software development experience and concepts
• Experience with high traffic, high transaction ecommerce solutions
• Experience programming in Cold Fusion MX 6.0 or above
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Experience writing and utilizing stored procedures
• Knowledge of TSQL and SQL Server / Sybase database
• Must be a team player with good written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Working knowledge of OO theories and concepts
• Experience with other technologies such as JAVA, JSP and Struts a plus
• Working knowledge of the Linux platform a plus
• Experience with Web Services and AJAX a plus
