Responsibilities

The Sr. Cold fusion E-Commerce Engineer provides e-commerce application design leadership, Web application development, database design and maintenance software architecture, software development life cycle management and application monitoring for the company’s e-commerce platforms. This is a long term role where they want a consultative approach and share ideas amongst team members.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of experience in the following areas: Cold fusion, Ajax / JavaScript, Java/J2EE, Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL, Web Services, XML, CSS, HTML, Subversion / Source code control, etc Support agile software development methodologies in a traditional dev, test and stage environment through an ability to employ industry best practices.
• Design intuitive and easy-to-navigate web-based user interfaces Adjust to constantly evolving requirements and assigned tasks Provide leadership to junior team members Maintain professional business relationships and effectively lead, triage, prioritize and resolve issues that arise in unpredicted situations

Additional Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of Web application development experience
• 2+ years of Software development team management experience
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively across all organizational levels (internal & external), including both technical and non-technical personnel Proven development of Ajax-enabled, interactive user interfaces
• Experience with common Cold Fusion application frameworks Excellent written and oral communication skills
