Candidates for this position would be required to have a wide range of skills, as well as the ability to learn new technologies, skills and techniques independently and quickly. The position requires a vast skill set; from helpdesk type support (for Content Management System) to software installation/configuration to application development and all areas in between.
Candidates may be required to act as technical lead on some projects, including, but not limited to, development, testing, staging, and production environment set-up and configuration. Candidates will also be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing current and future environments as well as integrating new technologies or environments into existing ones.Our clientis a faced paced environment where systems engineers are in charge of their own projects.
Candidates would be required to provide time estimates for work, status updates, and deliverables to the client. Candidates will be responsible for on-time delivery, as well as learning new technologies and tools, should the need arise.
Candidates should expect to work on projects using many tools and technologies, including but not limited to, ColdFusion, JRun, JBoss, Apache Web Server, Apache ANT, T-SQL, XML, and others.
