ResponsibilitiesSRA is seeking a JAVA & ColdFusion Developer to join an upoming project for the Administrative Office of US Courts.  This project involves systems engineering, application development, infrastructure operations and maintenance support. The ability to integrate Java into ColdFusion provides all sorts of opportunities, including access to freely and commercially available Java libraries; features in the standard Java and J2EE libraries; and your own Java code. In some cases, this can mean access to functionality that’s simply not available in ColdFusion.

This JAVA Developer position will be for full time employment based at the client’s site in downtown DC (Union Station).

Key responsibilities include:
Responsible for all aspects of software development and product support.
Serves as a lead expert in areas relevant to the project.
Produces/reviews substantive and/or complex technical documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of technical areas on the project. Documentation includes systems design, system architecture, feasibility studies, and system specifications.
Interfaces with Government management personnel.
Reports in writing and orally to Contractor management and Government representatives.
Utilize experience with ColdFusion programming, JAVA or J2ME programming, and HTML/ JavaScript/ CSS.  Work with Microsoft SQL Server TSQL.
Elicit requirements, and assist with system design and testing.

• 10 years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience including at least six projects in technical areas included in SOW. At least one project must have occurred within the past three (3) years.
• 5 years of this experience must have been in performing large IT projects related to the individual’s subject matter expertise and must have occurred in the last eight (8) years.
• ColdFusion programming experience, JAVA or J2ME programming experience, HTML/JavaScript/CSS ability to document work, ability to elicit requirements, system design capability, testing skills, Microsoft SQL Server TSQL.
