Announcing a new Meetup for The Online ColdFusion Meetup!

What“Using jQuery as a Proxy to ColdFusion”, with Hal Helms

Our 12pm (US ET) talk on Thursday Sep 9 will be “Using jQuery as a Proxy to ColdFusion”, with Hal Helms.

TOPIC DESCRIPTION: (provided by the speaker)

ColdFusion’s cfajaxproxy tag enabled ColdFusion developers to tie client-side JavaScript with server-side ColdFusion. In this meetup, we’ll see how jQuery’s events and native Ajax function enables event-based programming. Why event-based programming? It makes applications easier to maintain and, combined with Ajax, supports a better user experience.
