The Florida Blogger & Social Media Conference – or FLBlogCon – has found a home for its 2013 meet-up, and we’re happy to announce it will be right here in our Full Sail Live Venue. Tickets go on sale May 15 for the Saturday, September 21 gathering of the state’s biggest blog and social media enthusiasts.

“We are hyperlocal, meaning all speakers, vendors, and sponsors are from the state of Florida,” says Bess Auer, founder of FLBlogCon. “Fortunately, the Sunshine State has some of the biggest names in the business, so we’ve got a pool of knowledgable social media pros and bloggers who are willing to share their best practices and experiences with others.”

Google SPDY, New Protocol for 2x Speed Internet Browsing

Google is developing a new protocol called SPDY (pronounced SPeeDY) ehat will allow twice the speed of browsing. This new platform, according to Google research Blog, has been studied for some months and it will be used inside the HTTP, compressing its header.

Although Google already has positive test results, there is no time frame for launching it yet.
