As a ColdFusion Developer you will develop web solutions and custom applications for our largest eCommerce client.
This is a high profile position, working on a highly trafficked site that generates tremendous revenue.
Responsibilities
- Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements and new development as required
- Implement project applications according to specifications
- Research technical issues and provide recommendations
- Suggest ideas for improving efficiency
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and assignments as required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Be proactive with testing and stabilization
- Maintain flexibility; ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities
Experience/Skills
Must Have:
- 2+ years of software development experience and concepts
- Experience with high traffic, high transaction ecommerce solutions
- Experience programming in Cold Fusion MX 6.0 or above (2 + Years)
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript and CSS (2 + Years)
- Experience writing and utilizing stored procedures
- Knowledge of TSQL and SQL Server / Sybase database
- Must be a team player with good written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of OO theories and concepts
- Experience with other technologies such as JAVA, JSP and Struts a plus
- Working knowledge of the Linux platform a plus
- Experience with Web Services and AJAX a plus
