Our client is looking for a ColdFusion Expert responsible for full project cycle (design, development, QA support, production deployment, post-production support) for a large US telecommunications company.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The primary function is development and support of an enterprise level Datawarehouse
- Responsible for major project enhancements driven by business needs (full life cycle of a project from gathering requirements to providing sustainment to production, including design, peer reviews, providing testing strategy for the project developed, coding, unit testing and QA support during pre-production)
- Provide quick workarounds and solutions; solve defects and production issues with minimal impact on business
- Tune the applications to achieve maximum hardware support and minimize the execution time Requirements
- Excellent ColdFusion skills
- ColdFusion Ajax development skills (available on ColdFusion 8 and above)
- Experience with ColdFusion applications with frameworks such as Ext JS and YUI Build
- Strong Oracle or Teradata knowledge
- Strong knowledge of UNIX and Shell Scripting
- Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML
- PL/SQL experience
- Good working knowledge and experience with ETL tools, data integration and data modeling Preferences
- Ability to motivate in a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems
