Our client is in need of a ColdFusion Consultant. The candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Inventory and document the existing portfolio of ColdFusion applications/reports
  • Perform break/fix and implement minor enhancements as required to the portfolio of ColdFusion applications/reports
  • Develop new reports using WebFocus
  • Assist in developing a strategy to convert the portfolio from ColdFusion to WebFocus to align with the client’s enterprise reporting strategy

Specific Qualifications (items are required unless noted otherwise):

  • 1-2 years of ColdFusion development
  • 1-2 years of WebFocus development
  • Oracle
  • Complex SQL
  • Experience in developing and executing unit and system test plans
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Visio
  • Dimensions (configuration management)

  • This project involves ACG taking over internal operational support of approximately 20 ColdFusion reporting applications (200+ reports) developed by an external vendor.
  • We need to inventory the reports and document the data sources, data flows, SLA’s and other operational requirements.
  • We also need to take over break fix responsibility for the Cold Fusion Reports immediately.
  • No new reports will be developed in ColdFusion.
  • All new report requests will be done using WebFocus.
