Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and two (2) years of experience, or equivalent of a high school diploma and four (4) years experience as a ColdFusion Developer is required. It is preferred that the candidate should have experience in developing Web 2.0 technologies, JavaScript component libraries desirable (GWT, ExtJS, YUI), Adobe frameworks (Flex, ActionScript), have experience programming in C#, .NET, Java , consuming WebServices and using SOAP, JSON and other protocols with API’s,an understanding of third party API’s and frameworks (Google, Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, YouTube, etc), has experience developing in SQL 2005/2008 or Oracle is desirable, familiar with diagramming, data modeling and configuration management tools and aware of security protocols (XSS, SQL Injection). Experience coding designing and optimizing mission critical enterprise class applications using Object Orientated component based methodologies, implanted in frameworks such as FuseBox 5.5, ColdBox or some CFC based framework.

Position Requirements:

STG is currently looking for a skilled Cold Fusion software developer to support our customer at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory. This person would be responsible for ARL enterprise software application development, testing, deployment, support and maintenance. Participate as proactive team member for multiple projects. Become familiar with and support ARL software development standards and policies. Ensure proper source code documentation and maintain proper software configuration management using ARL CM tools of choice. Deliver quality, tested products.

Additional responsibilities will include:

Conceptualize, design, develop, create, establish, support, and maintain current and future web applications / projects
Work with analysts to interpret business requirements and offer technical solutions.
Document technical specifications using Quality Center suite and standard modeling techniques.
Provide input to technical standards and development process.
Design, code, debug, document and implement internet applications.

6. Work cohesively with Govt project managers to gather requirements and other pertinent information necessary to produce a working product that meets the customer expectations and need.
