We are seeking a contract Web Application Developer to support our ColdFusion applications, as well as to grow a new generation of Flash-based eLearning applications.

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 3 years web development experience
Essential: ColdFusion MX 8/9, JavaScript and frameworks (jQuery, Prototype,..), CSS, XML, HTML.
Desired: Flex, ASP.NET / PHP, Ruby, Java
Minimum of 3 years of SQL Server 2000-2005 or related experience, specifically: Knowledge of TSQL
Minimum of 3 years Flash experience and experience with Flash 8
Experience with deployment of applications from development/staging environments to production
Knowledge setting up, configuring and maintaining servers (OS, web and application servers).
Familiarity/experience with localization (foreign language adaptation)
QA experience

The Developer is responsible for daily web application production support and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience adapting frameworks and best practices established for the project or organization
Solid knowledge in relational database design and development (T-SQL)
T-SQL query and stored procedure development
Experience working with XML, CSS and Java Script
Experience working with AJAX and HTML/DHTML
Understanding of Rich Internet Application development with AIR/Flex

Desired Qualifications:

2 years experience building database driven applications
Experience with ColdFusion
Experience with Flex and ActionScript 3.0
Experience with Frameworks, such as ColdSpring, Mach-ii, and Model-Glue
Experience with Issue Tracking software

The Population Health team of Mayo Clinic Global Products and Services is looking for an experienced ColdFusion contractor with strong SQL skills to help with maintenance and development of new projects.

Candidate should have these skills/experience:

ColdFusion 7/8/9
Using CFCs
Consuming and creating Web Services
Creating MVC ColdFusion applications
Bean, DAO and Gateway methodology
Use of any ColdFusion Framework (i.e. Model Glue, Fusebox, Mach-II, ColdSpring)
Database development (including queries, table creation, stored procedures and UDFs)
JavaScript, specifically AJAX frameworks (i.e. jQuery, Prototype, Scriptaculous)
Strong communication skills
.Net development is a plus but is not required

Initial contract length is 6 months.
