We are a rapidly growing, ColdFusion Web Development firm seeking an entry-level and/or experienced ColdFusion developer (multiple positions available) to work with our team of designers and developers in building custom Web applications. The right candidate will have a passion for programming, as well as a desire to learn and gain more Web development experience.

Required:

4 year degree in Computer Science major
Proficiency in HTML
Proficiency in CSS
Proficiency in JavaScript
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
Education and experience with more advanced programming languages (Java, AJAX, etc) and database development
Understanding of object Oriented programming
Experience with client customer service
Some education or experience in ColdFusion programming

You will write W3C best practices code to support a wide range of applications and requests, multi-task, meet very tight deadlines, develop creative solutions to unique problems, and have in-depth knowledge of current Web technologies including browsers and web server functionality.

Required Skills

You should have 5 years of relevant best practices Web standards development experience with solid experience in the Web applications our client uses. You must have working knowledge of various web scripting languages and a solid understanding of web frameworks and languages such as HTML/ ColdFusion as well as JavaScript, PHP, SQL and XML.

Specific Skills for This Role Include:

CSS
Dynamic HTML
Adobe Creative Suite, including Flash
JavaScript
ColdFusion 8
SVN
Linux/Apache

It is highly desired to have an understanding of typography as it relates to CSS, experience with JQuery/AJAX, as well as a deep understanding of top to bottom website UI optimization. Web standards coding to W3C validated specifications is required.
