This position will provide support to the National Defense University (NDU), a large military/government educational/research organization that is under the direction of the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff. Through its various schools, colleges, research centers, and special components, professional military education is developed and conducted across a wide variety of programmatic, tactical, and strategic curriculum, including executive development training for newly selected general and flag officers and programs for international students and civilian executives. Through its research efforts, it produces policy analyses, research, and other support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Combatant Commanders from major military commands, and other U.S. Government agencies.

Provides analysis and technical Helpline support for application specific issues. Interfaces with multiple levels of users, management, and technical staff. Provides low to moderate level of customer service support for applications. Accurately documents and reports problems to technical staff for resolution. Categorizes and prioritizes service requests by maintaining database with up-to-date status information. Performs departmental administrative duties as assigned, such as generation and tracking of purchase requests, maintenance contracts, staff data and departmental policies and procedures.

Under direct supervision, the ColdFusion Developer will gather end user requirements, design, develop, test, and assist in the deployment of software developed using ColdFusion. Additional experience in one or more of the following languages / software packages / technologies is highly desirable.
